The goal of this summit is to gather input across Canada from Indigenous communities and leaders to promote opportunities for obtaining professional technology jobs on-reserve. Jobs include but are not limited to Indigenous developers, entrepreneurs, and public sector opportunities. A strong focus is to empower youth on-reserve to join the technology industry. Topics will include how to better engage Indigenous students (elementary and high school), growing opportunities with colleges and universities, internship opportunities with large corporations and the Federal Government, participation in Federal Government contracts, promoting Indigenous technology success stories, and encouraging a software development culture for the future.

The conference will be offered in-person at the Doubletree by Hilton in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and online using RingCentral.
