Overview

APC works with the Atlantic First Nations Water Authority (AFNWA), Assembly of First Nations (AFN), Dalhousie University’s Center for Water Resources Study (CRWS), Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), and our member communities to analyze and develop culturally appropriate water policies to serve Mi’kmaq, Maliseet, Passamaquoddy, and Innu people.

Additionally, APC works to compile and develop educational materials and opportunities within the freshwater space for Atlantic First Nation peoples.
