Pathfinder is developing education curriculum for grades 7-9 on climate change, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency. A school will be selected by early Jan, 2006 to be a pilot for the project. This is a joint initiative between APC and Clean Nova Scotia. Norah is helping out with this project. 

Three  Renewable Energy Projects have completed pre-feasibility studies at Chapel Island . Funding has been sought after for a wind test tower through ANCAP.

Polotek Way Limited has been hired as a consultant for Community Energy Baseline audits, 5 (Membertou, Pabinuea, Boutouche, Millbrook and Chapel Island ) communities have been selected, 2 ( Chapel Island and Boutouche) have been completed.

Pictou Landing has received half of the requested funding ($50,000) for their health centre. The building qualified for funding under ANCAP because it used ground source heating as a renewable Energy project.

Regional Blueprint for the Atlantic will be completed and submitted by end of Jan, 2006. This blueprint will include proposed projects and current projects for the new year. 3 ( Conne River ) new projects will be included in the blueprint.
