One objective of the AAEDIRP is to create an online database on Aboriginal economic development resources accessible to all Aboriginal communities and stakeholders.

The University of New Brunswick's Electronic Text Centre has agreed to host the database. The AAEDIRP will be collaborating with Erik Moore, Jen Whitney and Jason Nugent from the E-text Centre on the next steps of development for the database.

A subcommittee has been formed to help guide the development of the database. The members are Erik Moore, Director of E-Text Centre, UNB; John Sylliboy, AAEDIRP Assistant Research Coordinator, APCFNC; Gillian Austin, AAEDIRP Research Coordinator, APCFNC; Christina Warren, AAEDIRP Database Technician; and Anita Boyle, Eastern Education & Research Manager, CANDO.

Christina Warren, Master's in Library and Information Services, Dalhousie University's School of Information Management, was recently hired to do the data collection portion of the database.
