Canada-wide Strategy for the Management of Municipal Wastewater Effluent

In 2009, the Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment finalized the Canada-wide Strategy for the Management of Municipal Wastewater Effluent. The Canada-wide Strategy represents the collective agreement reached by the Canada's 14 federal, provincial and territorial ministers of the environment to ensure that wastewater facility owners and operators will have regulatory clarity in managing wastewater effluent under a harmonized framework that is protective of human health and the environment.
